Hafez ziaur rahman degree college is a reputed college in netrakona district .it was established in 1972 with the help of many noblemen of shyamgonj .motiur rahman khan is one of them who is a renowned businessman of this area .the college was named after his younger brother Hafez ziaur rahman khan. the college is situated beside the Dhaka -netrakona high way .Its campus and natural environment is very nice .there are about two thousand student in the college now .Its result is remarkable . the result of H S C is about 75% and degree (pass) is about 95% .the student and the teacher are proud of the college.
