Since inception on 1st August, 1969, the college has been disseminating the light of education successfully among the people in and around Chittagong. Set up by a few patrons of learning of the locality, the institution started functioning in Intermediate Courses and in a short time became a full fledged Degree College and at present the National University Syndicate permitted the college authority to pursue B. B. A (Honours) Courses in Management & Accounting disciplines on 14th Feb' 2013
