DATE OF ESTABLISHMENT: 20.10.1976 & NATIONALIZATION: 01.07.1985. It is the only degree level govt women's college, situated at the heart of Thakurgaon, contributing to the advancement of women's education. The process of opening Honours courses is going on. The college has attained fame in extracurricular activities (Sports, Cultural activities, B.N.C.C, Rover Scouting, red crecent etc).
