There was no college in our locality. The student of our locality had to go a long distance to acquire higher education.As the people of our locality were very poor,so it was impossible for themselves to spend so much money and at the same time it was very risky for the female students to study there.Observing this situation the educated persons of our locality decided to establish a college so that the student could acquire education so easily. For this reason Narikelbaria College was established in 1994.
