Shimanta Adarsha College is established in 1997 by the side of the Bhomra land port in Satkhira on the pioneer of Principal Md. Azizur Rahman with the collaboration of chairman Alhaj Md. Abdur Rauf who is the founder. It is recognized by Jessore Board in 1999 and affiliated Degree in 2003 and Honours in 2008 by National University. It is the best College of Satkhira in 2004. It is the main theme "Bloom in the knowledge."
