In the Pre-establishment period of this college, due to inavailability of the suitable field/institution of higher studies in Barandali region and its surroundings a group of some noble persons led by Mr. Md. Ershad Ali Gazi came forward to establish a college in Barandali Govt. Primary school. With this continuation, this instituion was finally inaugurated in 1987 on the land adjacent to Barandali High School in the name of Kapatackha Shammilani College.
